In 1972 Congress passed the Clean Water Act in order to make the waters of the United States swimable, drinkable and fishable.
The primary means of reducing or eliminating pollution generated by industries regulated by these laws is the
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been actively enforcing these requirements in Texas since 1992. In June 2003 the
EPA began sharing regulatory authority with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in order to step up enforcement
of the Storm Water compliance regulations.
With increased enforcement by the EPA and TCEQ, the risks and liabilities associated with non-compliance are becoming more costly
than ever. In addition, if your business or project is located in the Edwards Aquifer, it is subject to the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program (EAPP).
Our services are designed to keep you in compliance with all associated regulatory agencies, thus minimizing risks associated with enforcement action.
Letting PES manage your Storm Water Program, allows for the most efficient and cost effective utilization of your companies assets.
